Substitute Services, a component of the Talent Management Team within the Human Resources Department, provides support to both schools and substitute employees. The responsibilities of Substitute Services are shared between different Talent Management Team members who are also responsible for District-wide recruiting and staffing.
Substitute assignments are managed at the school level and via the automated Frontline Absence Management system. However, Substitute Services assists schools with acquiring substitute coverage for vacancies and absences of school-based professionals or paraprofessional employees when further support is required.
