• Student COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic 


    Wednesday, May 5, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

    On Wednesday, May 5, Pittsburgh Public Schools in partnership with Giant Eagle will be hosting a special student vaccination clinic at Heinz Field on the North Shore. Appointments are available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    Students MUST have an appointment to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.

    Students need to be 16 years or older as of May 5 and bring a signed permission form, an ID (school or state), and an insurance card if available. Students must have a signed permission form or their parent/guardian present to complete the form at the vaccination clinic to receive the vaccination.

    Please ensure the following section of the form is completed or Giant Eagle Pharmacists will be unable to give the vaccine shot:

    Eligible students include students attending Pittsburgh Public Schools or a charter, private and parochial school located in the City of Pittsburgh.

    Parents, guardians, and eligible siblings may also receive the vaccine if interested and eligible with an appointment. Family, friends, or others who do not have an appointment are not permitted to attend the vaccination clinic or congregate in and around the stadium. 

    Families of Pittsburgh Public Schools children may request transportation for Wednesday, May 5 through the District’s Support Center at 412-529-HELP or www.pghschools.org/letstalk and choose the transportation button.

    Students and parents/guardians must be masked and adhere to all social distancing guidelines.
