Pittsburgh's Action News 4 anchor Mike Clark with a look at how students at Perry Traditional Academy are helping the hungry in Pittsburgh.
The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank delivers a variety of food perishables. Members of the JROTC and the Gender and Sexuality Association forms an army of support for Project Rush Hour, turning part of their school library into a student-run food bank.
"Students in the GSA thought last year that kids were acting out in school because they were hungry and so they came up with the idea to start the food pantry," said one Pittsburgh Perry student and food bank volunteer.
