Pittsburgh Public Schools Accepting Post-Lottery Magnet Applications for 2020-2021 School Year
PITTSBURGH March 4, 2020 – Pittsburgh Public Schools has opened post-lottery magnet enrollment. Spaces are available for the 2020-2021 school year across the city. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis through Friday, September 11, 2020 for students to be accepted into programs with remaining vacancies, or to be added to existing waiting lists.
Current families can apply online using the Home Access Center login information. Prospective families can visit the Magnet Office (341 S. Bellefield Avenue, Room 453A, 15213) to apply. External applicants must present evidence of the child's age, two proofs of residency, and immunization records. Applicants can select up to three magnet programs for their application.
Applications may be received via postal mail, hand delivery, email, or fax. Families may also request a copy by calling the Parent Hotline at (412) 529-HELP (4357).
