Editorial: PPS work-study program offers new paths to rewarding work
Pittsburgh Public Schools is partnering with the City of Pittsburgh and local businesses on a work-study program called “Prepare to Prosper” that will expand opportunities for all students, not just those planning to attend traditional four-year colleges and universities. It’s a great sign of cooperation between the district and the city, and a big step toward building a more inclusive regional economy.
