Pittsburgh Bridges Academy

Pittsburgh Bridges Academy provides a full-time special education program for students in grades 3-12 in satellite sites throughout the District. All students have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) that drives the instructional decisions for the students. Pittsburgh Bridges Academy adheres to the Pittsburgh Public Schools curriculum with adaptations according to the students' I.E.P.s.

Pittsburgh Bridges Academy provides a highly structured behavioral management system to support the positive behavioral support plans for each student. Bridges Academy's staff is trained in therapeutic crisis interventions.
