Pittsburgh Westwoood PreK-5

We welcome all students and parents to Pittsburgh Westwood K-5. At Pittsburgh Westwood, we stress academic achievement, appropriate behavior, and caring for others.  Strong emphasis is placed on attaining and surpassing the benchmarks in Literacy and Mathematics.

We have a school wide uniform policy, electronics policy, and behavior plan.  We are proud of our DARE Program and our school calendar, which is bursting with activities for students, parents, and staff.  We are committed to promoting a community of learners!

Our staff is dedicated to providing every child with the opportunity to grow academically and emotionally through enriched activities and programs geared to promote thinking and learning. We encourage parent participation in all phases of our school day as tutors, classroom volunteers, readers, etc. Our existing PSCC and PTO members invite new members to join them in planning programs and activities for the new school year!
