About Our School
Pittsburgh Lincoln PreK-5 is a neighborhood school with a technology emphasis. Emphasis is on providing a well-rounded education through experiential learning. Lincoln's goals are: to increase the number of students who pursue engineering technology programs; provide equitable and inclusive opportunities for all academically qualified students; and provide clear standards and expectations for students success in all subjects.

Pamela Parks says it takes a team to ensure that students succeed in school. As Principal at Pittsburgh Lincoln, she encourages families not only to communicate with their child’s teacher regularly, but to also let their children know that everyone is looking out for their best interests, one way to do that is through Talking Points. She holds herself to the same standards.

Dr. Khalid N. Mumin, the Pennsylvania Secretary of Education, recently paid a visit to Pittsburgh Lincoln PreK-5. During his visit, he engaged with the 1st-grade students by reading a book to them. This visit was part of Superintendent Wayne N. Walters' Black Men Read initiative.
