Pittsburgh Dilworth PreK-5 Educators Become the New 2024 Yale Fellows

Congratulations to Dr. Lauren Freeman and Mr. Christopher Snyder, educators at Pittsburgh Dilworth, on their recent completion of the Yale National Initiative! These two dedicated professionals have successfully completed the intensive session of this prestigious program, marking a significant milestone in their professional development and commitment to enriching the classroom experience for their students.

The Yale National Initiative is a long-standing program focused on teacher development, offering educators the opportunity to collaborate, learn, and create impactful curriculum units that are shared nationwide. Dr. Freeman and Mr. Snyder have not only expanded their own knowledge but also contributed to the broader educational community by developing innovative curriculum materials that will be accessible to teachers across the country.

This October, Dr. Freeman and Mr. Snyder will return to New Haven for the program’s culminating event and celebration, where their hard work will be honored. Their participation in this initiative reflects the dedication of Pittsburgh Public Schools to continuous improvement and high-quality education. We are proud of their achievements and look forward to the ways in which their newfound knowledge will enhance learning for students at Pittsburgh Dilworth and beyond!
