This past weekend, Project Warmth was kicked off in the community by Morgan Ealy, YES Community School Site Manager at Pittsburgh Arsenal, during the annual Cookie Mall event — a long-standing community-sponsored tradition.
Project Warmth continues beyond the event, with donations still being collected to support Arsenal students and families in need. New and gently used clothing and essential items (all sizes) may be dropped off during school hours at Pittsburgh Arsenal or coordinated directly with Morgan.
This is Community Schools in action — meeting families where they are and showing up together.
