Pittsburgh Public Schools is proud to celebrate the success of Pittsburgh Allderdice graduate Robert Phelps, who is officially headed to the big leagues!
Phelps, a standout shortstop for the Edmonton Riverhawks, was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 19th round of the 2025 MLB Draft. Known for his athleticism, work ethic, and leadership on and off the field, Robert has made a name for himself as a rising star in collegiate baseball.
His journey from the classrooms and ballfields of Pittsburgh Allderdice to the national stage is an inspiration to student-athletes across the District.
