      • Fall Sports Physicals Any student who wants to participate in a Fall sport needs to have a physical completion after June 1.
      • Eagle Times Stay current with the latest issues of Obama Academy's student newspaper.
      • How to log into HAC Report Cards and Progress Reports will no longer be mailed home. The link to the flyer below gives directions on how to check your student's academic progress online.
      • Join the Email List: E-blasts are sent that includes everything happening at Obama (important things during the school day, after school events, sporting events, important upcoming dates, etc.) This is the ABSOLUTE BEST way to stay informed.

      • Talking Points App: Talking Points is a service PPS has that enables Obama teachers and staff to communicate with families via messaging. You can receive information via text message or through the Talking Points app. At Obama we will be utilizing this tool throughout the school year for class-specific and school wide communication! Download “TalkingPoints for Parents” in your app store!

        The FAFSA crisis casts cloud of uncertainty over Pittsburgh high schoolers, universities

        After graduating from Pittsburgh Public Schools this spring, senior Layla Johnson plans to become the first in her family to attend college. She’s already committed to Howard University, a historically Black research university, but she did so before receiving the financial aid offer that would tell her how much she’ll need to pay to attend.
