Office of School Performance

The Office of School Performance supports school leaders in creating the conditions for strong teaching, learning and student success across Pittsburgh Public Schools. Through direct supervision, coaching, professional learning and ongoing support, the office works with principals and school leadership teams to strengthen instructional leadership and improve outcomes for students.

Supporting School Leaders

Assistant Superintendents provide direct supervision and support to school principals, working closely with school leaders to monitor progress, address challenges and advance school and District priorities. They serve as a critical connection between schools and District leadership, helping to coordinate resources and ensure schools have the support needed to meet the needs of their students and staff.
