Erica Williams, principal of Benjamin Stoddert Middle School, was named 2024 Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) Principal of the Year. She is also the CCPS nominee for The Washington Post’s Principal of the Year award.

“PPS means quality education,” says Gomez. “But the schools can’t do it alone. As parents, we need to keep the lines of communications open and build relationships with teachers. Playing an active role in your child’s education is critical to his or her success.”

Several people with Pittsburgh ties have been named on Forbes’ World’s Billionaires List, which was released Tuesday. David Tepper, 66, tops the local connections tied at No. 94 with an estimated $24.6 billion in net worth, according to Forbes.
