Gifted Education Plan Assurances (Chapter 16)

Under Pennsylvania’s Chapter 16 regulations, school districts are required to provide specially designed instruction for students identified as gifted. These Gifted Education Plan Assurances ensure that students with outstanding intellectual abilities receive appropriate educational opportunities. The plan outlines how the district identifies gifted students, develops Gifted Individualized Education Plans (GIEPs), and delivers enrichment and acceleration services tailored to their needs.
