Pittsburgh Public Schools has updated the Course Catalog for grades K-12 for the 2024-2025 school year. Each primary subject area course code has been mapped to a standardized state code that reflects the five-digit course codes in the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) School Codes for Exchange of Data (SCED). School districts, colleges, and universities across the United States use the NCES codes when awarding credit for courses taken. The 2024-2025 school year update will simplify the number and variety of courses previously offered across the district and support PPS students when transferring or reporting courses to colleges, universities, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and other school districts.
