Summer BOOST 2024 RFP
This Request for Proposal seeks applicants to provide enrichment activities for the 2024 Summer BOOST program. Enrichment providers will have the opportunity to work with K-7 students for up to 120 minutes per day during Summer BOOST that will run from June 26-July 26, 2024.

ESSER After-School Programming Request for Proposal (RFP) Application
The ESSER After-School Programming Request for Proposal (RFP) has been re-open for a short period of time! If your organization has already applied, you will not need to re-apply. We are looking for programs focusing on the arts, social and emotional learning and tutoring, but all organizations are encouraged to apply. The RFP and more information/updates will be provided via the website. All submissions are due by midnight on December 12, 2023 via the Microsoft form.

Ethnic Studies RFP
This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks applicants who can provide curriculum writing services in collaboration with the Office of Curriculum and Instruction and make recommendations for supporting instructional materials for the implementation of an Ethnic Studies course. All proposals are due by 5:00 PM EST on December 22, 2023.

CCS 2.0 Monitoring RFP
The District seeks an individual or entity to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the provision of Covid Compensatory Services (“CCS”). Specifically, monitoring and evaluating the Individualized Determination Meeting (IDM) processes and the delivery of CCS 2.0 services. The CCS Monitor will use the RFP which is derived from the District’s Covid Compensatory Services Action Plan 2.0. and the District’s December 8, 2022, Preliminary Resolution Agreement with KidsVoice regarding the provision of CCS to District students.
ADDENDUM TO THE RFP: CCS 2.0 Monitoring RFP
PPS decided to reopen the CCS 2.0 Monitoring RFP until November 16, 2023.
DREA made the following date changes to the RFP: REVIEW OF THE COVID-19 COMPENSATORY SERVICES 2.0 PROCESS.
1. We are extending the proposal submission date from October 25, 2023, to November 16, 2023, on or before Opening of Business (8:00am EST).
2. Withdrawal or modification of the proposal must be in writing and will be allowed ONLY before Monday, November 13, 2023.
3. Pre-bid questions will be until November 13, 2023.
4. We will ask clarification questions until November 20, 2023.
5. We will notify shortlisted firm on or before November 24, 2023.
6. Interviews will be on November 29, 2023.
7. BoE approval TBD.

The Pittsburgh Public School District invites qualified external evaluators to submit a proposal to evaluate its Out-of-School Time of the 2023 and 2024 Summer B.O.O.S.T. program. For the 2023 Summer B.O.O.S.T., there will be three regional locations that will serve students who have completed Kindergarten through 7th grade in the district and locations and grade levels will be determined in the future for the 2024 Summer B.O.O.S.T. It is a two-years evaluation of the Summer B.O.O.S.T. program with the 2023 data informing the process for 2024

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) 9-12 Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit established providers of biology, chemistry, and physics instructional materials that are aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to provide evidence-based, researched, and reviewed instructional materials to Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS). This RFP seeks curriculum providers (“Respondents” or “Offerors”) who share a vision for ensuring that all students have access to the highest quality instructional resources aligned to the Phenomena-driven 3-dimensional instruction as outlined in the NGSS.
PA Science, Technology, Engineering, Environmental Literacy and Sustainability (STEELS) Standards are in large part aligned to the NGSS and the evidence-based practices to ultimately increase student achievement and ensure success in college, careers, and community participation. PPS seeks comprehensive biology, chemistry, and physics instructional materials that provide up-to-date, evidence-based, research-based, relevant, and appropriate materials that will effectively support the teaching and learning of all learners in all biology, chemistry, and physics classrooms.
Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) seeks instructional materials and approaches that are systematic, structured, and culturally responsive; explicitly support science literacy, students with exceptionalities, and students in need of additional intervention; allow for enrichment and acceleration; and provide easy-to-understand resources for parents/guardians. Digital tools and formative assessments utilized by teachers must allow for differentiated instruction and timely support to students, including accessibility features.

K-2 Mathematics Universal Screening for Number Sense Assessment

This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks applicants who can provide a mathematics universal screening for number sense assessment designed for students in grades Kindergarten (K) through two (2). The program should offer high-quality PA Core-aligned assessment questions with grade and age-appropriate item types aligned to all three aspects of rigor; conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and application. The assessment system should also provide customizable reports at the district, school, grade level, classroom, and student levels. Assessments must include at least (3) tests per year in K-2 Mathematics, with options to assess additionally as needed. Pittsburgh Public Schools has approximately 5,000 students in grades Kindergarten (K) through two (2). The RFP includes detailed requirements for all proposal submissions.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit qualified providers of comprehensive asset and work order management
software solutions that will support the Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) in decision-making for capital planning and expenditure.This project may be federally funded by the American Rescue Plan (ARP), Elementary and Secondary School Relief Act (ESSER).
The asset and work order management system will enable PPS to track and manage all assets, service requests, work orders, inspection reports, preventative maintenance, and inventory through a centralized database of information that is user-friendly and accessible from both desktop and mobile devices. It must provide tools for capital planning, budgeting, and projections of future expenditure. The software should also provide robust reporting and analytics capabilities, including the ability to generate reports on asset conditions,maintenance activities, and budget information. Lastly, the software should be scalable and allow integration with existing systems, such as the financial management software, Munis.
