K-5 ELA RFP

The due date for proposals is March 3, 2023.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks applicants who can provide a comprehensive, research-based, and evidence-based literacy program that will ensure all Pittsburgh Public Schools' teachers and Kindergarten through Grade Five students have access to the most effective, culturally inclusive, and highest quality curriculum and instructional resources aligned to the research in the Science of Reading. The RFP includes detailed requirements for all proposal submissions. -
Equity Audit RFP

Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) is interested in partnering with a consultant or firm that has successfully conducted audits and/or studies of racial equity in public school districts. We invite qualified providers to submit proposals for a district-wide racial equity audit that will support our efforts to close opportunity gaps by providing systemically excluded students with equitable access to programming and resources while also eliminating policies, practices, attitudes, and cultural messages that reinforce individual and institutional bias and disparate outcomes.

ESSER Mental Health Therapy RFP
Issuance Date: 12/09/2022

Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) has an overarching goal to ensure the provision of therapeutic support for children who exhibit a need for these services. The extraordinary circumstances caused by COVID-19 pandemic have left our schools in dire need of creative mental health support.
This work is expected to begin in April 2022 through September 2024.

RFP For Virtual Mental Health Therapy Provider
Pittsburgh Public Schools is in need of a contracted Virtual Mental Health Therapy Provider for students in grades 4-12. This contract will be for two years.
Submission is due by Noon on July 14, 2022.

RFP for Contracted Staffing Provider
May 19, 2022
Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) Program for Students with Exceptionalities (PSE), Student Services (SS)/Health Services (HS), and Early Intervention (EI) are in need of Contracted Staffing Provider to provide personal care aides, certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, occupational therapists, certified occupational therapy assistants, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and speech and lanauge therapists to provide related services as agreed upon and outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEP), Section 504 Service Agreements, and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP). An individual student’s approved related services are subject to change based upon various factors determined by the individual student’s team and/or District.
This work is expected to begin July 1, 2022. This contract will be for a three year period beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025, with locked rates.

Surveillance 2022
The School District is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified firm(s) to serve as workers compensation surveillance investigators to the School District.
Proposals are due by 12:00 pm Noon on Friday, May 13, 2022.

Supplier Diversity Management & Compliance Software Solution RFP
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is for the Pittsburgh Public Schools to procure and fully implement a Supplier Diversity Management & Compliance Software application with a vendor- hosted web-based software system. This system will provide automated reporting and monitoring of diversity spend and integrate all procurement projects based upon the District’s Eligible Business Enterprise (EBE) Policy and operating procedures.

RFP Online Store February 2022
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to provide a firm with the opportunity to present their qualifications, experience and conceptual approach to fulfill the needs of the School District of Pittsburgh for an online store that will provide school district employees with the ability to purchase miscellaneous stationary items such as letterhead, business cards, envelopes and an array of District branded promotional materials. The District anticipates selecting one highly-qualified and flexible vendor at a reasonable cost to successfully set up an online store. The vendor will enter into a three-year contract with an option for renewal. Due by 12 PM on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

Request for Qualifications Pupil Transportation
The Pittsburgh Public Schools is seeking pupil school bus, pupil mini school bus, nine-passenger vans, and/or less than nine passenger vehicle transportation provider(s). The District is currently looking to expand its contractor lists, and all selected contractors must agree to the current pricing schedule. All qualifications are due by 4:00 PM, February 24, 2022.

Feasibility Study: Career Exploration Middle School RFP
Pittsburgh Public Schools is seeking a qualified independent consulting firm to conduct a feasibility study to address and detail the start-up and operating costs for the new school and provide a 3-5 year sustainability plan. All proposals are due by Monday, March 7, 2022.
