    Security in Technology: Protecting Your Family from the Dark Side of the Internet with Guest Speaker Anthony Tillman

    Anthony Tillman has over nine years of experience exclusively in the Information Security industry. Focusing primarily on Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing, he has worked to improve the security posture of high-profile organizations in the federal space and the private sector. He has used his knowledge of Red Team and Blue Team techniques to serve the Department of Defense, State Department, and Fortune 500 companies. Anthony has a passion for educating average users about computer security and explaining the pitfalls of the internet.

    Building Mental Wellness for COVID and Everyday Crisis with Guest Speaker Dr. Lovie J. Jackson Foster, PH.D.,MSW

    Dr. Lovie Jewell Jackson Foster has served diverse roles in community-based social work for more than 25 years. She currently manages staff wellness programs for Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Children, Youth and Families, where she has served since 2017. Dr. Foster teaches trauma-informed youth and adult mindfulness and yoga. She is most passionate about healing intergenerational trauma, especially in Black families and communities. She is a wife, a mom, and her purpose in life is to love, inspire, and empower human beings to become their greatest selves. She is affirming of all people.

    How to Talk to Your Children About Race with Guest Speaker Angela Allie

    Angela Allie is Executive Director of the Office of Equity at Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) and monitors implementation of the District’s Equity Plan along with strategies that serve to increase educational equity across all PPS schools, and reinforces the District’s reform work through a lens of equity aimed at supporting the District’s goals of accelerating student achievement and eliminating racial disparities. Ms. Allie is currently a doctoral student in the School Leadership program at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research pursuits have included Critical Race Theory in Education, the Asa G. Hilliard III and Barbara A. Sizemore Research Course on African Americans and Education, and school leadership for racial equity. Her studies and practice both reflect a commitment to systemic racial equity for historically marginalized students.
