Where will my child attend the program?
The program will be taking place in-person across a number of regional sites. Because of limited capacity in buildings, site placements will be informed by a number of factors. These will include a child's school, their home address, proximity to transportation routes, and classroom capacity. We anticipate being able to share site placement in June once the program application has closed and transportation has been determined. Please see below for Summer 2021 site locations.
K-4 Sites: Carmalt, Faison, Langley, Minadeo
K-7 Sites: King
5-7 Sites: Classical, Sci-Tech, South Hills

The Summer B.O.O.S.T. application is open to any Pittsburgh Public Schools student currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 11th grade. With the program capacity at 4,500 students, it is possible that we will receive more applications than we have spaces allotted. In this event, admission to the program will prioritize students with a demonstrated need.
