As per the Charter School Law (CSL), "A charter school shall be accoutnable to the parents, the public and teh Commonwealth, with the delineation of that accoutability reflected in the charter." Trustees of charter schools are public officials. Charter Schools, like the School District of Pittsburgh, have a Board of Trustees that are required to conduct public meetings during the school year.
