Supporting Students with Disabilities in Remote Instruction
Virtual Information Sessions
Engage staff from the Program for Students with Exceptionalities (PSE) team by participating in parent/caregiver focused virtual information sessions designed to support students with disabilities in remote instruction. Each session is scheduled for multiple time slots to accommodate busy schedules. Gain strategies to provide students with positive reinforcement, coping skills, increased engagement, and effective use of scheduling. Receive information on multisensory math and reading instruction, and use of technology such as Read and Write and Learning Ally. Learn specific remote learning strategies for high school students and about transition planning for students over age 14.
