    If you need to reach out to your child's school directly, you can find your school's main contact information on our directly here

    Let's Talk

    If you need support from our Help Desk, Let's Talk is available to easily submit a ticket here. You can also look for the blue "Contact Us" button at the bottom-left of your screen to quickly submit a ticket as well. Let’s Talk is also available for download as an app to your mobile device. When asked for the code, please enter the Let's Talk! ID: PP1952.

    Our Help Desk is open and taking parent, student, staff, and community questions and concerns between the hours 8:00 to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

    Home Access Center

    The eSchoolPLUS Home Access Center (HAC) allows parents to stay up-to-date with your child's schedules, grades and scheduling. Visit www.pghschools.org/HAC for more information. Parents will need their HAC username and password to access their child’s information. Please contact your child’s school directly if you need this information. 

    Talking Points

    Talking Points is a free district-wide communication app that allows families to easily connect with teachers and principals. 

    Here’s how it works: Your child’s teacher or principal will send you a text message and you will receive the message through SMS text or the Talking Points Parent App. You can reply back through either method. You can also reply with an emoji. ☺

    There’s no charge if you have an unlimited texting plan. If not, standard text messaging fees apply - You can unsubscribe at any time by texting GOODBYE. - Download the TalkingPoints for Parents Mobile App in the app store on iPhone or Android!

    English as a Second Language (ESL) Nine Line:

    Pouvez-vous parler français? 你會說中國 ¿Habla Espanol? Nǐ huì shuō zhōngguó Do you have questions about your child's progress in school? Do you have questions about your child's school? Call the Pittsburgh Public Schools Nine Line at 412-529-6463 (NINE)!

    We care about your questions and concerns and want to provide assistance in the language that you prefer. Please leave your name, phone number, the name of your child, the school your child attends, and your question or comment. An interpreter will be in touch with you within 48 hours. If a call is received on a Friday, please expect someone to reach out to your by the following Tuesday. If you would like to learn more about the Nine Line, please contact the ESL department at 412-529-3516.

    PeachJar Flyers

    The official digital flyer distribution tool for PPS. In the past, schools sent home loads of flyers in students' backpacks. PeachJar allows the district and school to email flyers directly to the parent. To keep you informed on the most current newsletters, events, and updates. If you are not currently receiving PeachJar emails, you can sign up here.

    Look for the PeachJar logo below on your school's website (ex. www.discoverpps.org/obama) to view your school's current flyers:

    Social Media

    Superintendent Hamlet’s Weekly Parent Update

    Every Thursday evening, the Superintendent’s Office posts an update online at www.pghschools.org/coronavirus. The updates provide information about District events, activities, and resources for students and families.  These weekly updates are also sent via PeachJar.
