Can I enter my work location during the 10-day closure?

The District is operating under a full shutdown and all of our buildings are closed with the exception of Grab and Go locations. The only personnel permitted in buildings are food service workers and staff required to deep clean facilities.

What can I do if my work password has expired?

The District IT department is working to stop password resets. This may take a few days but should be in place by Monday, March 23rd. If your password has already expired, please submit a support ticket via Let's Talk or by email at support@pghschools.org.

Will PPS employees be paid during the closure?

All semimonthly employees and biweekly employees who have regular standard hours will continue to be paid during the closure. Visit the Payroll and Workers compensation FAQ for more detailed information.

Is the District in need of volunteers during the closure?
We are very appreciative to the many staff, families and community members that have offered to volunteer during the school closure. This type of support demonstrates the kindness and dedication of Pittsburghers to care for our students and staff.  At this time, we cannot accept volunteer support. To help mitigate the spread of the virus, we are limiting the number of individuals that are congregating in one space. We do welcome volunteers throughout the school year. To learn how to become a volunteer when our schools are open, please visit. www.pghschools.org/volunteering.
