• Tripod Student Safety Dashboard

The Tripod Survey is a confidential survey that provides the District an opportunity to collect valuable feedback from students about their experiences at school and with their classroom teachers. It is given twice a year to a subset of students at each grade level and asks questions that help PPS understand students’ perspectives on the learning environments of their schools and classrooms, as well as the effectiveness of the instruction they receive every day.

The dashboard below summarizes students’ responses to questions about how safe they feel in their school. The dashboard displays the percent of students that provided each response to the questions about safety in their school. The responses are summarized for the past three school years and are separated into two different grade configurations: grades 3 to 5 and grades 6 to 12. Students in grades K to 2 complete the survey but are not asked about how safe they feel in their school.
