Everyone Earns an Industry Certification and Most Go to College in This CTE Program
Pittsburgh’s career and technical education students gain hands-on experiences as they learn the skills needed in those 16 career pathways, and they earn industry certifications and college credits. They also participate in paid internships or other work-based learning opportunities that are often outside of regular school hours.

City formalizes workforce development partnership with Pittsburgh Public Schools
The City of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Public Schools have launched a workforce development program to help steer kids into careers in government, robotics or trade skills.
