Alisha Murray has been teaching with Pittsburgh Public Schools for three years and is currently the General Music teacher at Pittsburgh South Hills 6-8. She is responsible for teaching general music education to all grades as well as beginning keyboard instruction. She has also coached cheerleading and the boy’s dance team at South Hills for two years. Ms. Murray was one of the directors for the All-City High School Choir for Pittsburgh Public Schools in 2017.
As a graduate of Pittsburgh CAPA, she has a great love for music and the arts. She graduated in 2010 as a vocal major. Her Bachelor of Science in Music Education degree was obtained from Geneva College in 2014. She is currently a graduate student at Gannon University where she is studying to obtain her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. She is a proud member of Macedonia Church of Pittsburgh, where Ms. Murray loves to be involved in both the Worship Team and the Combined Choir.
