Pittsburgh Schenley graduate Camerin “Camo” Nesbit is an emerging artist out of Pittsburgh with more than 40 murals under his belt. Camo is focused on building his portfolio of diversified talents, centered on painting, while taking heavy interest in a local movement of collaborating with likeminded individuals who want to push culture through embracing and sharing positive opportunities.
Camo grew up dabbling in art but spent most of his time excelling in sports. After a collegiate basketball career got cut short by injury, Camo took what he learned from becoming a star athlete to the underground fashion & art world of Pittsburgh. He quickly built up a name for himself providing quality work. Witnessing Camo's unique energy in person will convince you that his growing following is not a fluke.
It started with shoes. Then canvas. Then clothing. Then murals. Throw in community projects, collaborations with local creatives, award shows, features in magazines, fashion shows, corporate dabbling and the everlasting eye catching outfits and you will understand why Camo is at an intriguing point in his artist career where his effort has started to catch enough notice and the quantity of his new pieces that push boundaries have made it almost impossible to not join the buzz.
Featured in Source Magazine, Camo participated in the 2015 Sneaker Con in New York and Detroit. For the past two years, Camo has been showcased at Art Basel Miami Beach, an international art fair with organized into sectors which showcase contemporary artworks by established and newly emerging artists. Camo is proudly a part of Boom Concepts, The Shop Pittsburgh, Wicked Pittsburgh, and Fame Gallery.
