In 2021-2022, the City of Pittsburgh has 12 brick and mortar charter schools, serving approximately 4000 students with configurations ranging from K-5 to 9-12.
The Charter School Division in the Office of Data, Research, Evaluation and Assessment monitors the performance and adherence to the Charter School Law and executed charter agreements for each school.
