• ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
    INSTRUCTIONAL PHILOSOPHY 
  • Students in ESL Classroom at desk English Learners (ELs) will have simultaneous access to rich academic content vocabulary and English language development opportunities. The instructional goals are to increase both language proficiency and academic content knowledge in light of WIDA standards and the Pennsylvania English Language Proficiency Standards. In addition, students' languages and cultures are to be valued and considered during instruction.
