    Talking Points App: Talking Points is a service PPS has that enables Obama teachers and staff to communicate with families via messaging. You can receive information via text message or through the Talking Points app. At Obama we will be utilizing this tool throughout the school year for class-specific and school wide communication!     Early Dismissals
    Students who are going to leave early must either bring a note to the main office when they arrive, or have a parent or guardian fill out the link below.  Please only call on the phone for early dismissals in emergency situations.
    Absence Forms
    Every time a student misses school, they must submit an excuse note within 3 days for it to be considered an excused absence.  Notes can be turned in to your child's homeroom teacher, or use the form below to submit your absence form online.

    Slime the Teacher Event-Pittsburgh Phillips K-5

    Pittsburgh Phillips K-5 had a slime the teacher event today to celebrate working hard to be respectful all month as part of their PBIS incentive. Third grade teacher Mrs. ElSabbagh was the brave staff member who was selected by students and families through a raffle at Back to School Night.

    Superintendent Dr. Wayne N. Walters has been named the inaugural honoree of The Plant A Seed Experience. The experience supports the work of Plant A Seed Children’s Partnership Inc., which through its Working Supportive/Mentoring Curriculum supports youth with life skills that will guide them to better conflict resolution and decision-making - planting comprehensive skills for tomorrow’s generation today.
